Your right to cancel If you are a consumer in the UK you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind and cancel it, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You do not need to give a reason and there is no fee. Tell us within those 14 days by emailing theteam@silkpyjamas.uk with your order number. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. We refund what you paid for the goods, plus the standard delivery charge you paid on the way out, within 14 days of getting them back. You pay the cost of returning them. Nothing on this page reduces that right. If something is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods we sell you must be of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose. If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete or different from what you ordered, tell us and we will put it right at no cost to you, return postage included. Those rights cannot be excluded and they last well beyond any policy on this page. Please tell us as soon as you notice. We may ask for a photograph or a note of the condition the parcel arrived in, which helps us settle it quickly. Changed your mind after 14 days Beyond the statutory 14 days we still accept change-of-mind returns for up to 15 days from purchase, which is our own policy rather than a legal requirement. It covers reasons such as finding a better price, the item not fitting, no longer needing it, or ordering the wrong one. On those returns a non-refundable handling charge of £29 per order applies, covering the original picking, packing and outbound handling, and you pay the cost of shipping the item back to the warehouse it came from. The rest is refunded. The item must have been purchased within the last 15 days. It must be unused, unmarked and undamaged. It must come back in its original packaging. You need the receipt, order confirmation or other proof of purchase from this website. We cannot accept returns of items bought from a third-party retailer. Every returned item is inspected on arrival. Cancelling before your order ships An order can be cancelled at any time before it ships. Most orders leave within 24 hours, so please contact us within 12 hours if you need to change or cancel one. Outside the statutory 14 day cancellation right, a 12.5% service and processing fee applies to a cancellation. Once packing and shipping have started the order can no longer be cancelled and the returns policy above applies instead. How refunds are paid Refunds are processed 24 to 48 hours after we receive the returned item, back to the card or PayPal account you paid with. If you would rather hold the amount as credit against a future purchase, tell us and we will do that instead. You can ask for any credit balance to be paid out at any time.
